We use personal information for the business purposes described in Section 4 of our Privacy Policy: providing and securing the Service, personalizing your study, running the community, providing AI features you choose to use, processing payments, communicating with you, improving the Service, and complying with law. We use sensitive personal information only to provide the Service and keep it secure, and not to infer characteristics about you.
3. No sale or sharing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Because we don't sell or share, there is nothing to opt out of, but we still honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in our Cookie Policy.
4. How long we keep it
We keep each category for as long as your account is open or as needed for the purpose it was collected, then delete it, except where we must keep it longer for legal, accounting, or security reasons. Section 7 of our Privacy Policy describes the criteria for each type of information.
5. Your rights
Right to know and access
You can ask what personal information we have collected about you, its sources, why we collected it, who we disclosed it to, and for a copy of the specific information.
Right to delete
You can ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction, security, and legal obligations.
Right to correct
You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out and to limit
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share, and we use sensitive information only as permitted, so these rights are already met.
Right to non-discrimination
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a different quality of service for exercising your rights.
6. How to make a request
Email hello@atomicanesthesia.com with the subject "California Privacy Request" and tell us which right you want to use. You can also download much of your data yourself from Settings → Privacy & security.
We verify requests by matching information you give us to our records, usually by confirming you control your account's email address. We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more.
You can use an authorized agent. We will ask for your signed permission for the agent and may ask you to verify your identity with us directly.
7. Shine the Light
California Civil Code § 1798.83 lets California residents ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not.
